Communication via Ethernet with devices equipped with RS232 serial link or M-BUS SLAVE (e.g. heat meter). Additionally, the converter has three potential-free contact inputs and one binary output. There is an option to power the converter via the Ethernet connector – PoE (ETH2 P option).
It allows remote reading of data and controlling the device with a serial port (e.g. microprocessor controller) via a computer network. Communication with the device is carried out via TCP or UDP protocol as a connection to a specific IP address and port number.
